Vincent Thériault - How to sell $255 million worth of masks to the Legault government by pivoting your business

On the 35th episode of Hypergrowth, I had the chance to interview Kevin Pillu, co-founder of Sportera. During the interview, Kevin told me about the incredible pivot he and his team had made in the summer of 2020 to create the first ever comedy drive-in festival in just a few weeks.

Now, the Sportera team were not the only ones who had to re-invent themselves over the past year and today's episode is a perfect example.

Vincent Theriault, co-founder of Surmesur is with us today to explain how his company was able to do a 180 pivot, avoid bankruptcy and finally sell $255 million worth of masks to the Quebec government.

The story, which is almost out of a Hollywood movie, demonstrates the agility, flexibility and also resilience that the Surmesur team was able to achieve during the spring of 2020.

Without further ado, my discussion with Vincent Thériault.
